About Event Registration

In order to sign-up for one of our events, you must either be a member of Capital Area Family Naturists or have completed a brief telephone interview with us. See the Join Us page for more information.

When you register for a paid event such as bowling or a sailing trip, you are making a commitment to pay. If you are unable to attend an event you have registered for, we ask that you cancel at least three days before the event or otherwise pay the amount due for that event.

Gender Balance at CAFN Events

CAFN will try to maintain a 60/40 percent gender balance in attendance at all of its events. If registration for an event exceeds that balance you may be placed on a waiting list until more members of the opposite sex sign up for that event.

Turkey

November 22nd - Thanksgiving Potluck Party

6:00pm - 11:00pm

Join CAFN members and guests at a private home in Fairfax, Virginia for a pre-Thanksgiving potluck dinner. Your hosts will provide turkey and stuffing. You should bring a vegetable or side-dish, which may be home-cooked or bought at a store, and your own drinks. (Alcoholic drinks are OK in moderation.)

There is no fee for this event, but please bring a dish to share and your own drinks. There is only room for 12 guests, so sign up soon.

Redskins at Seahawks

November 23rd - Football Party/Game Night

noon - 7:30pm

Join us for us a day of watching football and enjoying good company at a home in Ashburn, Virginia. Be sure to arrive by no later than 4:00pm to watch the Washington Redskins take on the Seattle Seahawks; but you are invited to arrive as early as noon for the pre-game shows and early games.

There is no fee for this event, but please bring a dish to share and your own drinks.

December 6th - CAFN Board of Directors Meeting

1:00pm - 2:00pm

The CAFN Board of Directors will meet at a members home in Virginia.

January 9th – 11th - Weekend at Avalon

Join us as we visit Avalon Resort, in Paw Paw, West Virginia. Come out for the whole weekend or take a day trip and join us on Saturday, January 10th. We will relax in Avalon's spacious hot tubs, enjoy their heated indoor pool, and maybe do a bit of gaming in the Nudsino.

Special discounts for day fees and lodging may be available to CAFN members this weekend. If 15 or more CAFN members sign-up for the Avalon weekend, we will receive a group discount rate of $12 day fees ($20 for couples) and lodge rooms for $55 per night, double occupancy.

The AANR-East board of directors meets at Jasmine Trail Nudist Resort & Campground in New Bern, North Carolina.
